One hour break for lunch each day.
Workshop Fee is $200
Day 1: Combining techniques from life drawing and oil painting, we will do a full value monochromatic under painting or grisaille of the subject. Discussions will include setting up the model to create a strong composition and designing with value.
Day 2: Focuses on finishing the painting with a full color or limited palette. Also covering the organization of the palette and color harmonizing for an effective finish.
Aaron will also briefly discuss his experiences in the gallery scene, preparing a portfolio, what the galleries expect, and what to be aware of in working with a gallery.
Aaron Westerberg is a native Californian who grew up in San Diego, and is currently showing his work in some of the most distinguished galleries across the country.
